Xangle, a virtual asset information portal based on public disclosure data, announced on February 4th that it plans to record project disclosures on the public blockchain AERGO, a blockchain platform for enterprises. With this collaboration, Xangle aims to store disclosure records on the blockchain, improve transparency of disclosure services, and increase protection for investors.
Xangle plans to develop a mirroring service based on the DTT Alliance (Decentralized Trusted Timestamping), a data verification alliance, and record the disclosures on the AERGO mainnet blockchain.
This is expected to secure higher transparency and security than the existing public announcement service. It is also possible to implement a ‘blockchain native’ public announcement service that detects various on-chain activities such as token burns or large-scale movements, records it on the AERGO mainnet, and disclose it.
There have been many instances where investors incurred losses due to unreliable information uploaded by various projects. In certain projects, the contents of the presentation were altered or the notices deleted. Due to these reasons, it has been difficult to make investment decisions based on trust and reliability of information.
When disclosures are recorded on the AERGO mainnet, issues around deletion or manipulation of investment prospectus can be prevented. In addition, investment decisions can be better made with information that can be trusted, as the information has been recorded on the immutable trustless public blockchain. Recording on the public blockchain will alleviate concerns of monopolization of public information.
Xangle has been archiving records of project disclosures published on it’s own platform. Once archived, it was not possible to modify or delete any changes, and if there were any changes, it has been published in the form of ‘corrective disclosure’. Xangle has kept public records as transaction details are permanently recorded on the blockchain ledger.X
Xangle is the only domestic and foreign virtual asset disclosure information portal, and aims to integrate and standardize information so that information can be viewed more transparently when the value of digital assets is transacted across borders and languages. In Xangle, you can view off-chain and on-chain information of more than 2,000 blockchain projects, and about 8,000 public announcements have been published.
