The Query & Transaction execution performance has been improved.
A new transaction propagation policy has been deployed. With this, the number of temporary orphans under heavy loads have been significantly reduced.
A transaction includes the hash of the chain ID. The latter is used to verify transactions by the mempool; a transaction that has an invalid chain ID hash will be rejected. Now, the mempool uses the chain ID from the next block that’s been created (Not from the current best block).
